He filmed this after an Apple price hike, with Big Billion Days and the Great Indian Festival still ahead, and with the 18 Pro already in the market. His case for the iPhone 17 was a festive sticker of ₹75,000 to ₹80,000, or a net ₹70,000 after a bank offer and an exchange. I opened Amazon.in on 4 October 2026. The plain iPhone 17 I could buy was a 512GB Mist Blue at ₹1,24,900. The offers he is waiting for were not printed on the buy box.
A search result titled iPhone 17 256 GB did not stay a 256GB phone. The page it opened was a 512GB Lavender with Protect+ and AppleCare Services, and the buy box belonged to that bundle: ₹1,27,450 against an MRP of ₹1,33,399, one left. I am not going to call that the base iPhone 17. There is no Flipkart button in this guide. He said Flipkart might discount the Pro. This site has no Flipkart affiliate tag, so the prices below are Amazon listing prices only.

- 18MP Center Stage front camera

This is the plain iPhone 17 I could price. Mist Blue, 512GB, ₹1,24,900, with one left, and no crossed-out MRP in the buy box. Sold by Clicktech Retail. He said last year's 17 had been pushed to about ₹1 lakh, that it does not deserve that, and that a festive sticker of ₹75,000 to ₹80,000, or a net ₹70,000 after a card and an exchange, would make it a deal. Some people were hoping for ₹60,000 or ₹65,000. None of those numbers are on this page. ₹1,24,900 is already above ₹1 lakh, before any offer you might have. The bullets do match the phone he was describing: a 6.3-inch display, ProMotion up to 120Hz, a 3,000-nit peak, Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, an 18MP Center Stage camera, a 48MP Dual Fusion system with a 4x optical zoom range, a 48MP Ultra Wide, an A19, up to 30 hours of video playback, and a charge to 50% in 20 minutes. Apple Intelligence is on the list. The buy box does not print a bank offer or an exchange bonus, so I am not subtracting either.

- 6.3-inch. The title says Promotion up to 120Hz. A19 Pro.
- 512GB, Silver. All 48MP rear cameras, 8x optical-quality zoom
- 18MP Center Stage front camera
- Up to 31 hours of video playback. Up to 50% charge in 20 minutes.
He thought old 17 Pro stock might sit at ₹1 lakh, ₹1.10 lakh, or ₹1.20 lakh, and that offers could pull the effective price to ₹90,000 or ₹95,000. The Silver 512GB page was in stock at ₹1,54,900, with no MRP crossed out. A 256GB 17 Pro did not show up as its own phone. I am not going to price a storage I could not open. The title gives a 6.3-inch display and Promotion up to 120Hz. The bullets name an A19 Pro, all 48MP rear cameras, 8x optical-quality zoom, an 18MP Center Stage camera, up to 31 hours of video playback, and a charge to 50% in 20 minutes. One durability bullet on this same page talks about the back of an iPhone 17 Pro Max. I am not going to borrow that crack-resistance line for the Pro. The page is in stock. It does not read like a discontinued model that has already left the shop.

- 6.9-inch. The title says a display with Promotion. This page does not say 120Hz.
- 256GB, Deep Blue, A19 Pro. 48MP rear cameras, 8x optical-quality zoom
- 18MP Center Stage front camera
- Up to 37 hours of video playback. Up to 50% charge in 20 minutes.
The Deep Blue 256GB Pro Max was ₹1,42,490 against an MRP of ₹1,49,900. That is less than the 512GB Pro above, and it is a long way from a ₹1 lakh Pro. The title says 6.9 inches and a display with Promotion. I searched this page for 120Hz and for the word ProMotion. Neither is there, so I am not adding them. The bullets are written for this Max: an A19 Pro, all 48MP rear cameras, 8x optical-quality zoom, an 18MP front camera, and the best battery line on these older Pros, up to 37 hours of video playback, with a charge to 50% in 20 minutes. If the brief was a 17 Pro around ₹1.10 lakh, this Max is the cheaper of the two Pro pages I could open, and it is still ₹1,42,490.
Cosmic Orange 17 Pro, also 512GB, was the same ₹1,54,900, and the buy box had no MRP. Cosmic Orange 17 Pro Max, also 256GB, was the same ₹1,42,490 against the same MRP of ₹1,49,900. Same storage, same afternoon, same sticker. I am not blending the Pro with the Max, or the 512GB Pro with a 256GB Pro I never found.

- 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR, ProMotion up to 120Hz
- 256GB, Black, A20 Pro. 48MP Fusion main, variable aperture, 8x optical-quality zoom
- 18MP Center Stage front camera
- Up to 23 hours of use. Up to 50% in about 15 minutes with a compatible adapter.
He said the new 18 Pro costs more than ₹10,000 over the 17 Pro, and that the wait is long. This Black 256GB page was in stock at ₹1,64,900, with no MRP in the buy box. I cannot check his gap on matching storage, because the 17 Pro I could open was a 512GB phone at ₹1,54,900. The newer 256GB still costs ₹10,000 more than that larger 17 Pro. The bullets are specific: a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display, ProMotion up to 120Hz, Ceramic Shield 2, a 48MP Fusion main camera with a variable aperture, 8x optical-quality zoom, an 18MP Center Stage camera, and an A20 Pro with a vapour chamber. They claim up to 40% better GPU performance than the iPhone 17 Pro, up to 3 more hours of video than that phone, up to 23 hours of use, and a charge to 50% in about 15 minutes with a compatible adapter. The page does not say the phone is out of stock.
Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy 18 Pro, each 256GB, were also ₹1,64,900. I opened each buy box. None of them showed an MRP.

- Up to 29 hours of use. The bullets say up to 6 more hours of video than the 17 Pro Max.
The same-storage comparison is this one. Black 18 Pro Max, 256GB, was ₹1,79,900, with no MRP crossed out. The Deep Blue 17 Pro Max, also 256GB, was ₹1,42,490. The gap on these two pages is ₹37,410. That is more than the ₹10,000 he mentioned. The bullets give a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display, ProMotion up to 120Hz, an A20 Pro, a 48MP Fusion main camera with a variable aperture, 8x optical-quality zoom, an 18MP front camera, up to 6 more hours of video than the 17 Pro Max, up to 29 hours of use, and a charge to 50% in about 15 minutes with a compatible adapter. - 128GB, White, A18. The screen-size field says 6.1 inches.
- 48MP Fusion camera, 2x optical-quality telephoto, Ultra Wide with autofocus
- Camera Control and Apple Intelligence, from the bullets
- The page does not say 120Hz.
He put the 16 in a ₹60,000 band, maybe ₹60,000 to ₹65,000 if the offers match the 17. White, 128GB, was ₹86,900 against an MRP of ₹89,900. That is ₹3,000 under the MRP, not a ₹25,000 cut. The bullets name an A18, Apple Intelligence, Camera Control, a 48MP Fusion camera, a 2x optical-quality telephoto, and an Ultra Wide with autofocus. The screen-size field says 6.1 inches. There is no 120Hz on the page. The same search's Ultramarine 128GB page was currently unavailable, so that colour has no sticker here.

An iPhone 16 Plus did not appear as a phone in the results I opened. His ₹70,000 hope for the Plus, for the larger screen and the larger battery, has no sticker here. I am not going to borrow the White 16's ₹86,900 and call it a Plus.

- 256GB, Space Black. 5.6 millimetres thin. A19 Pro.
- 48MP Fusion camera with 2x optical-quality zoom. 18MP Center Stage.
- Up to 27 hours of video playback. The bullets say it activates with an eSIM.
- ₹1,19,900 against an MRP of ₹1,49,900.
He would skip the Air. Nearly ₹1.5 lakh was his sticker memory, with old stock maybe around ₹1.10 lakh, and a single camera that loses to a 17 Pro in the same money. The MRP on this Space Black 256GB page is ₹1,49,900, which is the 1.5 lakh figure. The price you pay before any card offer was ₹1,19,900. That is under the MRP, and it is still above ₹1.10 lakh. The bullets describe one 48MP Fusion system with 2x optical-quality zoom, plus an 18MP front camera. They do not list a separate ultra-wide or the 8x zoom written on the Pro pages. They do say the phone is 5.6 millimetres thin, on an ultralight titanium frame, with an A19 Pro, up to 27 hours of video playback, and activation by eSIM. Here is the part his comparison did not survive: the 17 Pro I could open costs more than this Air, not less. Silver 17 Pro 512GB was ₹1,54,900. Skipping the Air is a camera decision. It is not because a 17 Pro was the cheaper phone on this afternoon.

- 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR. 256GB, Black, A19
- 48MP Fusion camera with optical-quality 2x. USB-C
- Wireless charging up to 15W with MagSafe, from the bullets
- The storage line says starting at 256GB. No MRP in the buy box.
He said the 17e was priced wrong, and to forget it, the 16e, and to take a 16 or a 17 if the deal was better. Black 17e, 256GB, was in stock at ₹79,900, with no MRP crossed out. That is the phone actually sitting near ₹80,000. The White iPhone 16, 128GB, was ₹86,900. On these two pages the 17e is the cheaper phone, and it has twice the storage. The bullets call it many of the same ideas as the 17, at a lower price: a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, Ceramic Shield 2, USB-C, an A19, a 48MP Fusion camera with optical-quality 2x, wireless charging up to 15W with MagSafe, and Apple Intelligence. It is not the 6.3-inch 17 with the ultra-wide camera. If you buy it because the title contains 17, read the 6.1-inch line first.
The White iPhone 16e 128GB page was currently unavailable. No price, and no card. He had already said to forget the 16e. An iPhone 15 phone did not turn up either. The iPhone 15 lines in that search were pen drives and flash drives for an iPhone 15, which is not a phone you can put a SIM in. His ₹50,000 to ₹55,000 fallback has no Amazon sticker from this pass. People asking for an iPhone at that money did not have a 15 to click.

- A plain iPhone 17 under ₹80,000 was not on Amazon. Mist Blue 512GB was ₹1,24,900, one left. The 256GB result opened as a Lavender 512GB AppleCare bundle at ₹1,27,450.
- The phone near ₹80,000 was the 17e, Black, 256GB, at ₹79,900. It is a 6.1-inch phone with one 48MP Fusion camera. He said skip it. The White iPhone 16, 128GB, was ₹86,900, so it was not the cheaper way out.
- A 17 Pro only if ₹1,54,900 for 512GB is acceptable. No 256GB Pro page. The Pro Max 256GB was ₹1,42,490, which is less than that Pro and still far from ₹1.10 lakh.
- The new one, if the page is what you want: 18 Pro 256GB at ₹1,64,900, or 18 Pro Max 256GB at ₹1,79,900. The Max is ₹37,410 above the 17 Pro Max 256GB.
- The Air at ₹1,19,900 if 5.6 millimetres is the point. The camera bullets are one 48MP system with 2x, and the phone activates with an eSIM. The MRP is ₹1,49,900.
These are Amazon listing prices from 4 October 2026. A bank offer can change the checkout number, and so can an exchange quote that belongs to your old phone. The phone you take home is the one whose storage and chip you read on that exact page. A 17e is not an iPhone 17, a 512GB Pro is not a 256GB Pro, and an AppleCare bundle is not the base sticker.
